The wait is almost over! Local electronic pop quartet Fast Planet‘s highly anticipated debut show at the Hi-Tone is TONIGHT. The band, which features four members of the now-defunct Memphis pop group This Is Goodbye, is celebrating the release of their debut album Jes. Gone is the straight ahead rock sound that fueled their other projects. Now the songs sit comfortably ontop of a dreamy bed of synthesizers and electronic beats. Hazy-dance-pop Nashville duo Future Unlimited open the show, and DJ Strooly is playing records all night long.  Doors at 9pm, $7 at the door.
